‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 17 preview: Tom Mison’s Ichabod goes shopping
While “Sleepy Hollow” is great at giving you action-packed sequences, there is something that we still love about seeing the simple humor of Ichabod Crane trying to take on modern conveniences.
In the new sneak peek below from Monday’s episode, you can see Tom Mison’s character going shopping to try to find the right ingredients to stop a curse on the Liberty Bell. The problem here is that he is not even remotely aware of what an explosion in the modern day looks like. This means him asking someone for flint and steel within the store.
Also in this video, Ichabod learns a thing or two about what seasonal products are exactly, and if there is any particular significance to putting pink flamingos on your lawn. Interestingly, we are wondering the same exact thing, and we do not have this same particular problem of being from the days of the American revolution..
By the end of this episode, the stage will be set for what is hopefully an epic finale coming up. While the show has not been renewed just yet for a third season, we certainly expect for it to be. Therefore, we will definitely be shocking if things tie together in a neat little bow. Expect a cliffhanger, and something huge to be at the center of a potential third season. We will probably get something closer to an official renewal announcement at some point in May. Stay tuned for more when it comes to that.

Waiting until May to renew Sleepy Hollow for a 3rd season is very poor business. The 3rd season should begin shooting in May. Writers need to write now, actors need to know if they should find new jobs, production needs to find new production facilities in Atlanta and I need to know if I’m going to boycott FOX for not renewing for season 3 !!!

I definitely agree with everything you’ve said, right on point.
