‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: See Rachel Bilson, Jaime King in ’61 Candles’ photo

“Hart of Dixie” fans, we feel your pain waiting for the next new episode to air. Last night, The CW opted for a movie instead of a new episode, and that keeps you sitting around and waiting even longer.

The only consolation that we can offer you now is that starting on Friday night, you are seemingly going to get new installments straight through for the rest of the season. That means you will continue to see the progression of Zoe and Wade as they prepare to be parents, and also how Lemon, Lavon, George, and AnnaBeth all fare with some major events coming up in their own lives. Part of what makes the upcoming eighth episode of the season, entitled “61 Candles,” fun is going to be Brick. The title is a reference to his birthday, and get ready to see many characters congregate for that reason.

The attached photo here, though, chooses to focus mostly on Jaime King and Rachel Bilson’s characters as they are looking in completely different directions. It’s almost jarring when you think about it for a minute.

What is interesting to note is that if this is the last season, this could be the show’s third-to-last episode. Therefore, we expect it to be building towards some sort of feasible end. We’ve already heard that if the series does have to wrap things up this spring, they have an ending that should work as a finale. With this being said, we’re not entirely sold still on it happening. The rating for this past episode adjusted up to a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic, and when we look at the first five episodes, we actually are starting to feel like it has a slight shot at coming back. We thought that most episodes would be in the 0.3-0.4 range.
