‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ finale preview: Geraldo Rivera, Leeza Gibbons face off live

The finale for “The Celebrity Apprentice” is coming up on Monday night, and if there is one thing that we are expecting already, it is even more antics and insanity. After all, isn’t this what the show is known for? It is probably going to be amplified to another degree when you consider that you have Geraldo Rivera involved, and the show is airing at least live in parts.

The format here is ultimately the same as it has been in past seasons. The majority of the celebrities will appear live as they all watch back segments of the final task filmed almost a year ago, Donald Trump reminds us how amazing the show is, and we probably get more information about the charities and what the contestants really hoping to accomplish. Of course, we could also have some musical performances. After all, there may be an Olivia Newton-John sighting!

While we are going to rank the final contestants further tomorrow, this feels like a pretty easy race to figure out. When it comes to pure fundraising, there is almost no question that Geraldo has it in the bag. He knows extremely rich people, and many of them have no problem showing and giving money. Leeza has some rich friends, but not on the same degree.

Meanwhile, there is almost no doubting from our vantage point that Leeza will come up with a stronger creative. This is what she has excelled at virtually all season, so there is little reason to think that she is suddenly going to struggle with this now. Odds are, the decision will be in Trump’s hands to determine who was better overall.
