‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Colin Sweeney returns in ‘Dark Money’
For many days now, we’ve wondered what the 13th episode of “The Good Wife” this season was going to be about … and now we know. “Dark Money” is the title here, and when you hear a name like that, you have to think about such things as ethics and potential corruption. Basically, this looks like it will be a heck of a good installment. It’s hard to think anything else when you have the return of Colin Sweeney, and more of David Hyde Pierce as the ever-formidable Frank Prady.
CBS released the official synopsis today to go along with the title, and you can take a look at it below:
“When Colin Sweeney accuses a television producer of basing an unflattering character and show on his life, Diane and Cary must prove that they are capable of handling his case as Alicia focuses on the race for State’s Attorney. Also, Alicia competes against Frank Prady for a major campaign donation, on THE GOOD WIFE, Sunday, March 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Ed Asner guest stars as a major donor to the Democratic Party, Guy Redmayne. Dylan Baker and Laura Benanti reprise their roles of husband and wife, Colin Sweeney and Renata Ellard-Sweeney. David Hyde Pierce returns as Frank Prady.”
Ultimately, this episode sounds crazy, but also insanely entertaining. There are so many big names in it, and it appears as though this installment is really just picking up where the last one left off in bringing us the myriad of stories taking shape. Personally, we’re interested to seeing how Cary reacts to what is now a new life and a new hope for him.
