‘The Following’ season 3 spoilers: More creepiness in latest promo

If the goal for “The Following” moving into its third season was to be as creepy and enigmatic as possible, we come to them today bearing some good news: They have definitely managed to pull this off!

In the video below, you can see what we would like to describe as a fairly effective promo for the upcoming March 2 premiere. With that being said, you can probably figure out just where this one is going from the moment it begins. Would you really think that the show would actually have a commercial that shows everyone happy and at peace? That is not the way this show works!

At first, Ryan Hardy and company are going to appear as though they’ve gotten themselves into a great place again. After all, he in particular has a new relationship, and a good deal of time has passed since the end of Joe Carroll’s reign of terror.

The unfortunate problem for him is that he has a perpetual black cloud of death seemingly hanging over him at just about all times. He never seems like he can escape carnage for long! It feels that it will be at a reception when chaos breaks out for him again, and the only solace that we can offer is that Joe is not at least directly involved here. He will not be a part of at least the first half of the season, and he may be gone for even longer depending on what the writers decide to do.
