‘Shark Tank’ video: BedJet, Fresh Patch in the spotlight
Earlier today, we brought to you some basic impressions of the products featured on tonight’s “Shark Tank” episode, and this afternoon, we’ve got some more detailed videos to go along with them!
Since there was no ABC sneak peek released as of around 3:40 p.m. Eastern time, we’ve instead got for you right now a pair of videos that really give you a better sense about how some of the products tonight see themselves, and what they perceive their primary market and function to be. These could also be big hits with the audience, depending of course on what viewers around the country are looking for at this very moment.
BedJet – For this particular brand, the biggest selling point is simply that it heats and cools your bed to your specification. This really is one of those genius ideas that you cannot believe was not thought of before now. We’re sure that there are other ways to do this, but maybe not as effectively. In a perfect world we see this getting an investment to maybe improve the design a little, but there is so much of a benefit to this if you are a sensitive sleeper and are trying to make the most of your time in bed.
Fresh Patch – The benefits here really depend on who you are, and what you are hoping to get out of your time with your dog. If you want to train your dog to use this instead of ever going outside because you’re lazy, we wag out finger at you! With that being said, it could be effective to potty-train using real grass while the dog is still a puppy. While we couldn’t see ourselves getting one of these given that we’re home much of the time (and we are pretty sure that if Coco Chanel Vanderwoof didn’t have outdoor time she may murder us in our sleep), but maybe there is a market for frequent travelers, for people who spend hours stuck in traffic, or people in poor climates. We’ll say this: Given the storms in the midwest right now, Fresh Patch is very lucky with the timing! There may be many people who don’t want to take their dogs out in the snow who see this as a temporary alternative.
