‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 2 spoilers: Who is getting married?

“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has done a variety of hilarious episodes over the years, but one thing that the series has only done occasionally is create some sort of massive event.

Luckily, it seems like we are going to have that courtesy of at least one upcoming story this season. Per Entertainment Weekly, the March 1 episode is going to feature a wedding! Specifically, we’re talking about eh parents of Gina and Boyle actually tying the knot. They tried previously to break the two up, mostly because of the sheer creepiness of it all. If you remember, earlier this season we saw Gina and Boyle engage in a series of very-awkward hookups, which Gina was extremely ashamed about but continued to have for a long period of time regardless.

The report also says that there is the potential for some other romance to find its way in here at some point, as well. Therefore, if you do find yourself rooting often for Jake and Amy, maybe there will at least be a little something in there for you … or maybe that is just our irrational hope, given that we very much ‘ship the two of them together.

There are still some other episodes to come before that, so we don’t want to count our chickens before they hatch. With that being said, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is also going to be off the air at times throughout the coming month, mostly because Fox is not so insane as to program their show against such things as the Academy Awards or the Super Bowl, which are always monsters year after year.
