‘Parenthood’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Zeek’s decision, Amber in labor, more as series finale looms
Can you believe that there are only two episodes left of “Parenthood”? That is a difficult pill to swallow, especially since there is so much happening when it comes to family, life, death, sadness, and joy. Yes, all of those emotions are jumbled together in a big emotional pie. Take a bite, if you so dare.
The title for this episode is “We Made It Through the Night,” and that is worthy of some tears in itself when it comes to the fate of Zeek. Of course, that’s not the only major event taking place here. Sarah’s ready to reveal the truth, and with Amber in labor, we have to hope everything turns out all right.
In case you haven’t seen it already, the synopsis via NBC does a great job of spelling things out:
“Camille (Bonnie Bedelia) and Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) make a decision concerning Zeek’s health. Sarah (Lauren Graham) makes a big decision and shares some good news with her dad. Adam (Peter Krause) and Crosby (Dax Shepard) clash over differing business opinions, and Adam stands his ground, deepening the tension between the brothers. Amber (Mae Whitman) rushes to the hospital with labor pains, and the Bravermans flock to her side.”
We don’t necessarily expect for there to be closure on any of these stories before we get to the series finale, if for no other reason than that there is really no reason to hand that over yet. We’re still in the thick of it, but we presume that those moments are coming. This is not a series that should or will most likely end with the Bravermans in crisis.
