‘The Bachelor’ CarterMatt Podcast: On Ashley Salter’s antics, Ashley Iaconetti’s strategy with Jessa

Monday night’s episode of “The Bachelor” was a little bit of a trip. This is the first time that we’ve seen the show in its typical format this season, and we had a chance to see a little bit of everything. There were two group dates, a one-on-one date, and of course at least one segment that featured Chris Soules taking a little bit of an outdoor shower. (Yep, that happens almost every season!)

This new CarterMatt Podcast really gives you a taste of all of the antics from this week, starting of course with the ridiculous group date that featured everyone in bikinis. Why in the world would they do this? We really don’t have any idea, since they didn’t need to be in swimsuits after already showing them off in the pool. Why not switch things up, when bikinis had nothing to do with tractors?

After spending some time discussing this date and its rose recipient of Mackenzie, we then transition into the one-on-one date with Megan Bell, which was relatively dull other than hearing more of her story. Do these sort of stories make it harder on a Bachelor? We investigate.

The main event this time is probably still the discussion of the two women named Ashley, and some of the various antics that we see each one of them involved in during this episode. There are awkward moments aplenty here, but Ashley Iaconetti actually makes a good impression despite still holding onto a secret. Meanwhile, Ashley Salter is still there despite being a little out there (to say the least).
