‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Lea Michele, Darren Criss talk premiere story

While you wait around for Friday, January 9 to arrive, how about diving into yet another sneak peek of the “Glee” season 6 premiere?

In the video below, you can see the likes of Lea Michele, Darren Criss, and Matthew Morrison lay the groundwork for what is hopefully going to be an excellent season premiere. For the time being, here is what we know about the story. Many months have passed since the end of season 5, and the big dreams that Rachel and Blaine specifically had have come crashing down. Both have failed in their hopes of stardom, and are back in Lima, looking for redemption by helping others. Blaine is coaching the Warblers, while Rachel has taken it upon herself to try and educate the new kids over at the New Directions.

If these two make it far enough, we’re pretty sure that they are going to have significant competition in the form of Will, who left McKinley to take on the job at Carmel High. Vocal Adrenaline is a powerhouse, and with his teaching coupled with their budget, they could be unstoppable.

Ultimately, though, we feel like this season is really about more than just competition wins, and that is something some of the early seasons should have focused more on. Ultimately, this is really just all about this program helping to make the kids ambitious, studious, and prepared for the future. This is a story about arts education in schools, even if it is at times extremely silly and also satirical.
