‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: George R.R. Martin hands out ‘spoilers’ in parody video

Game of Thrones -Just as one last Christmas treat for all of you, we have what is a completely ridiculous “Game of Thrones” related video for you below, via the folks from College Humor.

So what is the basic premise of this one? It is as simple as watching a fake George R.R. Martin wander around and hand out “spoilers” on the future of the books / the HBO show. It’s all completely ridiculous and obviously fake, and the impression of Martin is not even remotely accurate. Still, it is probably worth a few laughs. After all, isn’t this a perfect little reflection right now of Martin’s tendency to do terrible things to beloved characters like Jon Snow and Arya Stark?

The fifth season of “Game of Thrones,” which airs on the network starting in the spring, should bring the show for the most part up to date with the books. That makes it by and large one of the most complicated seasons of the show to date. Some characters, including Bran, cannot really have their stories spoiled at all. Why is that? It’s as simple as the character already being up to date on the show.

As of right now, the cast and crew of “Game of Thrones” are getting a chance to relax, rest, and enjoy a little bit of holiday cheer. The fifth season finishing filming in Northern Ireland earlier this month, and also spent a little bit of time filming in Spain and various parts of Croatia. We’ll have more serious updates soon enough.
