‘How to Get Away with Murder’ spoilers: Cicley Tyson cast for super-secret part

At some point after the winter premiere of “How to Get Away with Murder,” you are going to be seeing an appearance from Cicley Tyson. Unfortunately, that is the only part of this news that we can confirm for the time being.

Tyson is an Oscar-nominated actress, and also received plenty of love lately for her role in the TV project “The Trip to Bountiful.” Basically, this is a big coup for executive producer Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Peter Nowalk. Even if this ends up being a one-episode gig and nothing more, we feel pretty good about the chances that Tyson will completely kill this part.

“How to Get Away with Murder” has been the big hit of the fall season, premiering to enormous ratings for ABC. Not only that, but Viola Davis has already scored a Golden Globe nomination for her role as law professor / attorney Annalise Keating. While a season 2 of the show has not been confirmed just yet, it seems to be inevitable. Heck, the network is probably about to metaphorically hand the keys over to Rhimes. She has helped to build one of the most successful Thursday lineups in the history of the network.

This is not the only mysterious guest star appearing later this season; Marcia Gay Harden (“Trophy Wife,” “The Newsroom”) is going to turn up at some point in a role that has been under a heavy veil of secrecy.
