‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Norman Reedus on Daryl’s perception of Rick

The latest -Is Rick Grimes starting to become completely unhinged on “The Walking Dead“? We have seen a little bit of evidence here and there that this is happening, and our guess is that it is going to continue moving into the second part of the season. No longer is this a guy who follows much of a moral compass; instead, he probably thinks that if he had gone with his initial instinct when it comes to Grady, maybe Beth would still be alive.

Matters of morality are always complex issues, and this is something that Norman Reedus himself points out during an interview on the subject with TV Guide. With that being said, we also teases that moving forward from these past episodes, Daryl may be a little more nervous about Rick than in the past:

“I think there’s humanity left in Rick … But Daryl always has Rick in his peripheral vision. Always.”

We especially love about these characters right now the sort of twisted morality that comes with them. For example, we thought for a long period of time that Rick was presumably the moral one, given his past as a police officer. However, Daryl has shown himself to be more of a compass, despite his past being somewhat more checkered. All of this may ultimately go to show just how complicated so many of these issues are, and how much this apocalypse can change people.
