‘The Flash’ episode 8 video: See Grant Gustin, Stephen Amell in crossover clip

With there only being a few hours now until the big crossover episodes for “Arrow” and “The Flash” begin airing, The CW is finally being cool enough to release a few clips all about what you can expect.

In the case of the video below, it is basically an excuse to give you the big first meeting between Oliver Queen and Barry Allen in Central City. What’s great is that Grant Gustin’s character has some sort of hero worship going on for Stephen Amell’s crime-fighter, and much of it is probably born out of the fact that he has already seen what he can do for a rather long time now.

Unfortunately, relations between the two are not going to be staying particular rosy throughout the episode. Expect some conflict to arise quickly, and for it to come for the most part from the presence of a villain known as the Rainbow Raider, which has to be one of the cheesiest names for an evil-doer in human history. This guy does have a particular agenda, and that is trying to cause as much chaos as humanly possible for Barry and company by corrupting minds.

In the end, the reason why this episode is titled “Flash vs. Arrow” is because these two are going to be at odds eventually in what will be one of the coolest fights that we’ll have the opportunity to see all season. Who knows who will emerge as the victor?
