NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results preview: Matt McAndrew, Damien, Taylor John Williams win on iTunes

The Voice -

Want to know who is most likely going to be safe on tonight’s new episode of “The Voice“? We’ve got the latest information now, and it certainly seems to be suggesting great things for at least a few contestants. (Note: All sales data here is from around 1:30 p.m. Eastern time, and could change before the show.)

We start here with Matt McAndrew, who is in competition with Taylor Swift right now for #1 on iTunes for his performance of “The Blower’s Daughter.” He is a heck of a performer, and is showing possibly the best coach relationship with Adam Levine that we’ve seen on the show over seven seasons. He’s still the favorite to win it all.

As for the other locks to advance, Taylor John Williams and Damien each are within the top ten with their performances of “Royals” and “Someone Like You.” This at least ensures that Gwen Stefani is not losing both of her acts tonight.

From here, the competitions gets a little interesting. Chris Jamison is, as of this writing, hovering near the top ten with “Sexual Healing.” If he sneaks in there, he may be able to ensure that Craig Wayne Boyd, Ryan Sill, DaNica Shirey, and Luke Wade are all in danger of going home. The only real intrigue tonight is whether or not Chris or Craig ends up in the bottom four with the other three; the reason Craig may overtake him is just because Blake Shelton has so much pull as a mentor, and could get him the bump up that he needs.

With this being said, we fully expect whichever guy is not in the bottom four to make it to the next round … and the other will be competing for that big wild card spot with the finale.

We’ll have our full review of the results show online later, but for now, be sure to read our full review of Monday’s performance show! Also, sign up to get some further song-worthy TV updates via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: NBC.)
