‘The Fall’ season 2, episode 4 preview: The hunt for Spector lives on
If there is one thing that we can say while describing the BBC series “The Fall,” it is that just about everything operates as a sort of slow build.
Unsurprisingly, the same thing goes for the sneak peeks that are released for every new episode, and that includes what we have for you below. Basically, this revolves further around the hunt for Paul Spector, and how a certain bit of information about his past ends up becoming a key factor in the efforts to try and uncover just where the man is today.
Are we going to be seeing Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson’s Gibson face off in-person at some point before the end of the season? Based on the information that we’ve seen to date, the answer to that question is “yes.” The real drama here therefore comes in the waiting game, and the constant speculation over how in the world we are going to get there, and then the questions as to whether or not the payoff is worth it.
The thing to remember here as we near the end of season 2 is that for British television, so much of the fun tends to be about the journey just as much as the destination. Therefore, they do not concern themselves nearly as much over some things such as trying to extended a face-off between two important characters. If Gibson and Spector only share the screen for a number of minutes, and these minutes age great, they may not push it beyond that.
