‘How to Get Away with Murder’ episode 10 spoilers: What’s next for Wes, Annalise?
Obviously, there are big-time spoilers below for all those who have not finished the winter finale for ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder.” If you continue reading from here, it’s not our fault if something is ruined for you!
Now that we’ve said that … let’s dive in. Not only did we learn Sam’s killer on this big episode (Wes), but we also learned that Annalise Keating was well aware of what he did, and didn’t seem to be particularly bummed about it at all. Were they working together on this, and was it at all planned? Peter Nowalk is on a press tour right now to take on some of these questions, and he said the following to Entertainment Weekly about this subject:
“[That’s] the question I want people to wonder. When we come back in January, there will be an answer one way or another. It’s left as a dangling chad, or whatever you want to call it, so people can try to fill in those blanks themselves.”
One other thing that Nowalk wants you to know for the time being is that we’re not going to see Wes wake up from this in the morning feeling okay. This is going to impact him for a long time, and he has to figure out just what in the world he does with himself now:
“It’s going to rock his entire foundation. It will change him completely from who he was. That night hijacked his life; you have to quickly become someone else who’s not quite human. That means many things for him. Whether he becomes hardened, whether he becomes colder, whether he becomes more traumatized, darker, more connected with Rebecca or less connected with Rebecca, I think that’s the ripple effect of what he’s done. I don’t think anyone could ever prepare for that, especially someone who is built like him. He’s had a lot of struggles in his life, but I don’t think anything has prepared him for this.”
