‘How to Get Away with Murder’ receives two-hour finale; Felicity Huffman, Ryan Phillippe shows land premieres
ABC has already released bits and pieces of their early 2015 schedule, and to go along with that right now, we can also tell you about a few new premiere dates and one big finale right now.
“How to Get Away with Murder” is going to wrap its first season with a two-hour finale come Thursday, February 26 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, and the reason for this is to help set the stage for “American Crime,” the new drama series starring former “Desperate Housewives” actress Felicity Huffman.
ABC’s official logline for this series is as follows:
“A young couple in Modesto, California were brutally attacked in their home leaving Matt Skokie, a war vet, murdered, and his wife, Gwen, unconscious, barely hanging on. The crime sends shock waves throughout the community stirring up tensions across socioeconomic and racial lines in this gritty new drama – from the points of view of all those involved.”
Speaking of shows that have two-hour premieres, the new show “Secrets & Lies” starring Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis is going to premiere on Sunday, March 1 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. This show will have a chance to get the coveted “Once Upon a Time” lead-in, though its entire premise of conspiracy and killings seems like it would be just as good as an addition to #TGIT.
For those wondering, “Revenge” and “Resurrection” are going to return in January, and we feel like the former will also pop up again at some point later in March to finish off its season.
