‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11, episode 8 (fall finale) preview: Ellen Pompeo – Patrick Dempsey drama in ‘Risk’
Next week, “Grey’s Anatomy” is going to be venturing back towards a storyline that they first introduced a little earlier this season, but have not really broached the subject too much sense: Whether or not Meredith and Maggie are going to learn to get along.
The next new episode of the series is entitled “Risk,” and based on the information in an ABC press release, Ellen Pompeo will have her hands full with this case. She and Patrick Dempsey will have to play even more Meredith – Derek conflict, and to go along with that, there are some medical matters that also must be dealt with.
Check out the synopsis below:
“Maggie and Meredith join forces on a case, but their approach clashes with Derek’s. Elsewhere, one of the patients in the veterans project is pushed too far, and Callie blames herself; and a routine procedure leads to a heartbreaking diagnosis.”
The final part of this synopsis has us very concerned, and mostly because we are constantly worried that this show will find a way to completely tear out our heart. This show does have a history of killing off many of its beloved characters, and we truly believe that in this world, there really is not anyone who is completely safe.
One other thing to remember about this next episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” is that this is the fall finale for the show, which is not going to be back on until early next year. Therefore, you better hope that the series really does everything it can to leave you off on a high note … at least for now.
