NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Were Chris Jamison, Elyjuh Rene, Sugar Joans, or Taylor Phelan eliminated?
You’ve waiting all week to find out who the top 12 contestants were going to be on “The Voice,”
We’ll start here with what the basic format is of the results, and that is as follows: America votes through two artists on each one of the coaches’ teams, and then the coaches pick the final person. We like the system very well, since it gives all parties involved some stake in what happens. Also, it lets us know which four contestants need to step up their game the rest of the season if they want to have any hope at all of being taken seriously at the end of the day.
Team Blake Shelton – America chose Craig Wayne Boyd and Reagan James, and then he made a shocking choice in Jesse Pitts! Basically, Blake picked the non-country act over two country acts.
Team Pharrell – Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey were picked by the public, and then he chose … Sugar Joans? Over Elyjuh Rene? This one is a little controversial in our mind. We thought that he was going to be a lock to advance!
Team Gwen – Taylor John Williams and Anita Antoinette advance. Gwen saved Ryan Sill. While we were a little shocked by Gwen’s choice, the other parts of this were beyond predictable.
Team Adam – Damien and Matt McAndrew were the picks to move forward by America, and Adam saved Chris Jamison. There is basically nothing here we were surprised with, and we agree with all of it.

This is unbelievably unfair that Pharrel decided to let Elyjah go!! There must have been something behind his mind other than talent for him to choose Sugar Joan over Elyjah Rene. I think he will regret his decision for the rest of his life. Jesus!!
