‘Jane the Virgin’ episode 6 preview: Gina Rodriguez and big decisions
What is the best decision for Jane to make on “Jane the Virgin” next week? Well, we’re going to get a chance to find out some of what she’s going through on “Chapter Six” next week.
Basically, Gina Rodriguez’s character is going to feel herself drawing closer to some unusual people, and this could ultimately lead to her questioning quite a bit when it comes to her life. That’s not all that is going on during this episode, though; the official synopsis below teases that there’s going to be everything from an arrest to a performance and so much crammed within the span of an hour:
“Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rogelio (Jaime Camil) begin to grow closer until she meets his mean twin teenage stepdaughters, who are determined to make her life miserable. Rogelio insists Xo (Andrea Navedo) uses his band for her big performance at the Mirabella Hotel, but the band is not what she was expecting. Elsewhere, Rafael (Justin Baldoni) finds himself arrested after Petra (Yael Grobglas) files a complaint against him. Meanwhile, Jane is conflicted about the direction of her relationship with Michael (Brett Dier) and what will be the best choice for her.”
Right now, we feel like the great thing the show has going for it is that within the span of just a few episodes, they have already developed a pretty devoted fan following. While the ratings may not be huge, most of these people have already shown themselves to be fairly committed. In the long run, this is going to be beyond important to a second season and beyond.

I can hardly wait for the next episode. I laughed really hard at the subtitled scene between Michael and Rafael. This show manages to surprise me each and every episode. I am invested in Michael and Jane making their relationship work. I even enjoy Petra. I was hoping she could reunite with Rafael but their relationship seems doomed at this point. Buy maybe not. I miss Luisa.
