‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4: When will the (possible) series finale air?

Friday, January 9. Due to an announcement from The CW this week, that is a date that all fans of “Hart of Dixie” really should be getting memorized right now. That is when you are going to see Rachel Bilson and company on the air again for ten episodes that could mark the end of the show.

Just in case you’ve been away for the computer the past month or so, here’s the truth about the show’s status moving forward. At least some of the cast is treating this season seemingly like the end, mostly because they don’t want to get the rug pulled out from under them. They also may be being realistic in regards to the show’s ratings, and the fact that they spent part of last year and this upcoming season on Friday nights.

However, it has not been formally said that season 4 is the last, and The CW will most-likely wait and see what all of the numbers really are before making their official decision.

Now that we’ve said all of that, here is another date for you to write down: Friday, March 6. Unless the show decides to take a Friday off somewhere, this will most likely be the date of the season or series finale of the show. We would imagine that they would want to run the vast majority of the series in a row, if for no other reason than that this helps to keep another spot open, and they can fill this up with something else at another point in the future.
