‘The Blacklist’ season 2, episode 8 (fall finale) preview: Megan Boone’s Liz, Tom trouble in ‘The Decemberist’
Next week, “The Blacklist” is going to air an episode entitled “The Decemberist” that looks to conclude the fall portion of the season, and hopefully do it in an extremely dramatic way.
The biggest thing we know about this hour is that we’re going to see Reddington and Berlin team up! Who saw that coming? In addition to that, the official synopsis below also teases that we are going to see Liz really start to struggle when it comes to the mystery of Tom; she has managed to hide him for a long time, but that time may be running out now.
Before we say a whole lot else, go ahead and check out the official synopsis below via NBC:
“Red’s (James Spader) motives for Berlin (guest star Peter Stormare) take a sudden turn when he learns Berlin was manipulated by the latest Blacklister to avenge Red. Red and Berlin travel to Moscow to track down a high ranking Russian official who they believe is responsible. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) struggles to keep her secret from unraveling.”
What we do know is that unfortunately, this is the last episode until after the Super Bowl wraps. Let us just hope it is worth the wait. The fact that Zoe is Berlin’s daughter rather than Red’s is a pretty big game-changer. It justifies the new team-up, and it ties these two to Naomi Hyland in a way that greatly informs almost everything else we’ve seen on the show to date.

Red, Tom and Ressler are the most interesting characters on the show. Liz is just salad dressing. Sorry but the poor woman is not very good at her craft. And I agree, if she isn’t Red’s daughter, her being ON the show is pointless. Any female would do.

The show is pointless if she isn’t red’s daughter….the risks he takes for her and the caring, there has to be a connection…

I truly hope that Liz IS Reddington’s daughter!! If she isn’t then this show is pointless. I REALLY want her to be his daughter!
