‘Dancing with the Stars 19’ results: Was Tommy Chong, Michael Waltrip, or Lea Thompson eliminated?
Tonight’s “Dancing with the Stars” episode had a very fascinating feel to it given the theme, and there were a few really good performances from start to finish. That performance by Janel Parrish? Mesmerizing, and that chemistry with Val Chmerkovskiy was definitely there.
Given that this is a results-based article, though, there is really no need to waste time talking about whether or not she is in any jeopardy. This is Janel we’re talking about here! Of course, she was going to be fine.
The question that we had instead was if this was finally going to be the week for either Tommy Chong or Michael Waltrip, who have been hanging on for quite a while for dear life. They both have very big fan bases, and while our heart told us that Michael should go tonight, or brain suggested that Tommy probably would instead. Michael does have that Southern audience behind him, and they’re probably the same crowd that kept Bill Engvall in this competition for so long.
The show waited until the end for any results, but in the end, the inevitable actually did happen: We saw the end of the track for Michael. He had a very good run on the show, so it is pretty darn hard to see him beating himself over this. He lasted a whole lot longer than anyone thought he would … or really should. He did try very hard, so we cannot blame him for that. In the end, though, this is typically the time when some of the weaker dancers do go.
