‘The Flash’ spoilers: Who discovers the world of meta-humans next?

The Flash -The Flash” is in a very different place than its CW counterpart “Arrow” when it comes to one simple thing, and that is keeping the status of its heroes secret in its universe. Given that there are few in Starling City with superpowers, it is a whole lot easier to keep things under wraps.

Unfortunately, Central City has so many people with powers at this point that it is pretty hard to keep anything under wraps, and for the upcoming November 18 episode entitled “The Flash is Born,” one of the troubles is going to be figuring out how in the world to get Eddie Thawne to un-see something that complicates things greatly. Just take a loon at the official synopsis below:

“The Flash (Grant Gustin) faces a new meta-human named Tony (guest star Greg Finley, “Star-Crossed,” “Secret Life of the American Teenager”), who can turn himself into girded steel at will. While Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) are concerned about Barry’s safety, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) comes up with a plan to take Tony down. Meanwhile, Iris’s (Candice Patton) blog on The Flash gets her into trouble, and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) witnesses Tony’s abilities firsthand and begins to ask questions that Joe (Jesse L. Martin) doesn’t want answered.”

So following “Plastique” (which airs a week from tomorrow), we have another character in Girder who should be at least somewhat familiar to fans of the DC comic. Unfortunately, there’s still no real evidence here that this is anything other than a Villain of the Week.

What Barry Allen may need to really concern himself with right now is strictly how in the world he is going to keep Iris quiet, without at the same time revealing himself to be this “Red Streak” that she is writing so much about. Then again, we wonder how much she’d really be hurt by the revelation now, if it would keep her quiet, anyway.
