‘The Bachelor,’ ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ alum Sarah Herron finds fun way to campaign for ‘Bachelorette’
Is campaign season beginning already for “The Bachelorette”? Maybe, since right now producers have to be getting a good idea based on the crop of contenders on Chris Soules’ season of “The Bachelor” filming now. At this point, they should be getting at least fairly close to the end of the journey, since production typically wraps a little bit before Thanksgiving.
Hopefully, there could also be some other candidates in the mix … and Sarah Herron from Sean Lowe’s season / “Bachelor in Paradise” has already come up with a great, funny way to throw her name into the running. Take a look at the tweet below, which comes via a reply from Chris Harrison.
While we know that Sarah is just having some cheeky fun here with Harrison and show creator Mike Fleiss, we’re going to go ahead and raise the question: Could this actually happen? Personally, we have to say that we would really like to see it take place. The biggest reason for this is simply because we originally campaigned for her before Desiree Hartsock’s season, and through appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise,” she did not hurt her stock at all. Instead, she probably improved it as a likable, confident person who also has a realistic view on romance. All of these tend to make the best Bachelorettes, since you have someone who understands their value and is not going to enter the process with ironically rose-colored glasses.
Of course, it’ll probably be March or so before we hear who the next Bachelorette is, though we personally feel like Fleiss and the producers have a shortlist of around three or four possibilities at the end of the previous season, and they shift around a name or two depending on fan reaction.
