‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 3 preview: Is Father Gabriel good or evil?

Walking Dead -What side is Father Gabriel really fighting on? If you were a fan of “The Walking Dead,” we’d understand you being a little confused right now.

After all, let us spend a minute or so looking at the facts that we know about this guy. He’s at least got an outfit of a priest, and he claims to be one. That’s great. However, we have a hard time thinking that even a godly man would have gone through this entire zombie apocalypse without having to kill even a walker to save his own life.

Not only that, but some paranoia is forming among the group about what is real intentions are, namely Sasha, who has a reason to be especially angry given that Bob has become a trending topic on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. (There are so many tasteless jokes about poor Bob that we’re not even going to start here.) How was it that right when Gabriel turned up, people started getting taken? Is he to blame for that?

In this particular sneak peek below, Gabriel doesn’t really have time to defend himself. The video ends right when it starts to seem like Sasha is going to go at him with a knife, and some of the other members of Team Rick calm her down.

At this given moment, all we can say is that Gabriel was introduced on “The Walking Dead” for a reason, and we imagine that this very reason is to make the group ask themselves big questions. We’d also be shocked if he was to go anywhere in the immediate future, even if the gang does seem at least partially convinced that the best course of action for them is Washington DC, to see if Eugene and his knowledge really amounts to anything.
