‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5, episode 5 preview: An emotional McGarrett scene

Currently, “Hawaii Five-0” is not letting off the pedal when it comes to giving you emotional scenes when it comes to some of its characters.

Throughout the past few weeks, we’ve had a series of pretty dark stories when it comes to Danny and his search for his brother, and it led to his discovering Matt’s body in a very terrible manner. We thought this could happen, but we feel like we always held out a tiny amount of hope that he was going to be able to survive in the end.

As for Friday night’s installment, the difference here is that we’re going to see a story focusing more on McGarrett, and how visiting his father’s grave could set off a series of events that are extremely important to him. The video sneak peek at the bottom of this particular is simply powerful in its simplicity. It doesn’t try to complicate things with action … or really anything at all.

There are some other episodes worth looking forward to beyond that, and we feel like one in particular that was worth watching is the 100th installment coming up soon. Wo Fat is going to be back, and that is going to cause a whole lot of crazy.

Hopefully, there will be something else to discuss when it comes to this story soon, and there is at least one thing that we can promise right now: A full review for this hour coming tomorrow, including a preview for the next installment after that.
