‘How to Get Away with Murder’ episode 5 preview: Laurel, Frank, Connor, and other issues

On Thursday night’s new episode of “How to Get Away with Murder,” the web is going to somehow going to be woven in about five or six new directions. For some further information about that, you don’t have to look any further than the new sneak peek below.

Basically what we get from here are some latest relationship updates, and the simple notion that judgment in this world at the moment is almost ridiculous. Just think for a minute about everything that some of these characters have done in the flash-forward. They have murder pinned on them, and also some other things like adultery and other misgivings that you can add to the list. Do they pale in comparison? Sure, but it’s still unseemly.

The comparisons at this point between this show and “Scandal” should be obvious, mostly because we don’t exactly feel like there are any people on this show that can really be identified as heroes. Who do we root for? Somehow, we have an even harder time with that on here than we do with “Scandal,” mostly because we do at least feel the majority of the time there that Olivia Pope is fighting for the good guys … or at least that’s what we want to believe.
