‘How to Get Away with Murder’ episode 5 preview: Sam and Lila Stangard’s connection

Next week, “How to Get Away with Murder” is going to really start diving into some of the show’s central mysteries, whether you are talking about the events of the present, or what in the world is going on in the future. Basically, if you have enjoyed where the Lila Stangard case has progressed so far, it is only going to get so much more in-depth and crazy from here on out.

Even the episode title next week sounds ominous in “We’re Not Friends,” and we’re going to find out more about relationships, the bond between Sam and Lila, and much more. Take a look at the attached synopsis below:

“Annalise takes on a tough case defending a minor who fatally shoots his police officer father. Meanwhile, Annalise and Sam continue to argue over his relationship with Lila, and Wes and Rebecca begin to question Annalise’s motives. In flash-forwards, we learn more about Laurel’s relationship with Frank and why he was calling her the night of Sam’s death.”
