‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 7 spoilers: Katey Sagal on Unser as threat

“Sons of Anarchy” this season has at times played out like the story of Gemma’s downfall, and we are really getting a good sense of that when it comes to what has happened within the most recent episodes.

On Tuesday night, for example, the return of Juice to Charming basically spells big trouble for the character. He knows what really happened to Tara, and given his survivalist nature, there may come a time very soon when he decides to spill the beans to save his own hide.

In addition to that, there’s also another person in Unser who, despite her bond with him, is starting to piece together that there is so much more behind Tara’s death than what anyone knows. As Katey Sagal notes in a new interview with TVLine, this is something that Tara is going to have to stay very aware of moving forward:

“She knows that Unser is now working with the police. She went into his trailer and she saw all the crime scene pictures, so she knows that he’s not believing her. Her plan, too, was that they’d pin it on this Chinese guy, and then it’d be done with. That’s it. They’ve got a murderer, and nobody’s going to ask any more questions, and it’ll just be done. But that didn’t happen, and Unser is a part of it. The fact that he wants Jarry to be talked to — anything that keeps her involved in it is a problem for her. So Unser is a problem.”

Will Gemma die before the story ends? Sagal isn’t saying, though she admits to knowing quite a bit at this point in regards to how things are going to play out the rest of the way. If nothing else, what we feel is that the killing is far from over, and things are only going to get so much worse at this point before they get better.
