‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: David Krumholtz to potentially help Alicia

The Good WifeIs Alicia Florrick officially going to run for State’s Attorney on “The Good Wife“? While we don’t know the answer to that quite yet, the latest casting certainly makes it seem like politics are going to be a part of her future in some way for at least a little while longer.

According to a new report coming in from TVLine, former “Numb3rs” star David Krumholtz is going to step into the role of Josh. He is an extremely smart, savvy campaign specialist who is an expert at throwing a little bit of shade on other people. He is going to be hired by Jonathan (Steven Pasquale), and it is pretty easy to figure out precisely just what he will be trying to do.

Why go to this level? That’s something we wonder right now when it comes to Alicia, mostly because we don’t see her having a very difficult time at all sticking around as a candidate or even winning the position. As it was already made clear to us a little earlier in the season, she definitely brings quite a bit to the table as it is. For example, she is seen mostly as a sympathetic figure, has an extensive career in law, and with her husband’s resources, there is little reason why she should not be able to pull a victory out. The only reason that she could need negative ads is if there are some bumps in the road that come out at some point.

What do you think about this particular casting, and what do you think David will bring to the table in the end?
