‘The Flash’ episode 2 spoilers: Where does Barry Allen go in ‘Fastest Man Alive’?

The Flash -Did you enjoy the premiere of “The Flash“? We’ll have a full review later, but for the time being, we’ll say that it was a pretty faithful and fun adaptation of what is one of the most energetic DC Comics properties that is out there. Also, Grant Gustin is pretty great in the Barry Allen role. This guy is going to be just as beloved as Stephen Amell is for playing the Green Arrow.

Can the show keep up this momentum, though? It’s one thing to create a great pilot; it’s another to actually have a wonderful series. Some shows have fumbled at this point, just as some have built on terrible ones. The next new episode is entitled “Fastest Man Alive,” and it further features Barry undergoing the rest of his journey. The synopsis below is a lengthy one, but aren’t you happy for it? Take a look below:

“Barry (Grant Gustin) escorts Iris (Candice Patton) to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg (guest star William Sadler). When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe (Jesse Martin) comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black (guest star Michael Christopher Smith), who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the ‘red streak.'”
