‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 3 preview: Bernadette’s Howard impression

Here it is -If there is one thing that we know about Howard Wolowitz on “The Big Bang Theory,” it is that this is a character who is pretty darn easy sometimes to make fun of. Do we feel sorry for him over it? In some ways, sure. However, at the same time this is also a guy who brings a whole lot of this on himself.

Take, for example, the fact that he decided to throw out the first pitch at an Angels game in the first place. This is one of the primary story threads on Monday night’s new episode, and in the sneak peek below, you can see Bernadette give him a good-natured ribbing first about how he will need to work on his throwing technique. She did play softball growing up, so she has something to contribute in that department.

However, at the same time she could not shy away from throwing in here a few skewers about the way Howard runs, as well. She even does a good impression of it! Physical comedy is not something that Melissa Rauch often gets a chance to do on the show, so we do appreciate it when some of these opportunities do come up for her to show off a little bit.

This episode is simply one that we expect to be funny. We don’t have a whole lot of other expectations for it, given that we’re into the season now, and typically shows do not lift the veil on one of their biggest surprises a few episodes into the game.
