‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 3 preview: Charlie Hunnam and ‘Playing with Monsters’ expectations
While today may more or less mark the official start of the fall TV season, be sure to not forgot about some of the shows that you have already come to know and love over the past few years. This includes “Sons of Anarchy” over on FX, with has a potentially-huge hour airing Tuesday in “Playing with Monsters.”
Typically, the show likes to follow up an slower episode with a crazy one, and despite all the gunfire in “Toil and Till,” there was not really a whole lot that happened that will leave you breathless in a few weeks.
One of the big moves, though, was Unser making sure that Althea Jarry (guest star Annabeth Gish) did not completely give up on Jax Teller and SAMCRO just yet, and clearly, he must have got to her to a certain degree. This photo between her and Charlie Hunnam’s character appears to be a peaceful one, which makes sense given that keeping the peace is supposedly one of her specialties. She has the hard challenge of trying to do what Eli Roosevelt ultimately could not, but the problem she faces here is that we’re not quite sure that anyone can keep Jax from being a total madman hell-bent on revenge right now.
Well, let us rephrase that: Someone could, and ironically, it is Unser if he can fully piece everything together properly. He and Juice to us are the two most important characters on the show right now in terms of bringing about change. For Juice, it is more about whether or not he could ever be in a position where there is a benefit to telling the truth. We’ve always thought of him as a survivalist, and we have a hard time seeing that changes.
Elsewhere in this upcoming episode, there will be a few moments where you want to scream at your TV when it comes to Gemma. For more on that, head over to the link here. Also, sign up today to get some other TV scoop on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter.
