MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4 spoilers: Final exams enter the equation

In just over a week now, “Awkward” will return to MTV in order to wrap up season 4, and we’ve got our first look now at just what you can expect from the first episode back. This one is entitled “Finals,” and the basic way to look at this story is that Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards) is going to have very little time to sit around and process what happened on the ski trip. She not only lost her boyfriend, but Eva’s supposed pregnancy may change the entire future for Matty, and even jeopardize the possibility of her being with him someday.

For the time being, here is the short synopsis (via SpoilerTV) of what you can expect:

“Jenna tries to focus on her finals after the senior ski trip, but aftershocks from the revelation threaten her chances.”

To us, it is pretty clear that there are some reasons to be excited about this episode, but most of them tie back to what simple question: What is the big twist when it comes to Eva? Is she really pregnant with Matty’s child, pregnant with someone else’s child, or not really pregnant at all? Any of these questions should be valid ones in our eyes, but the show may continue taking its time before letting you see any real answers.

In terms of a timeline, this episode is likely to be taking place either before Christmas, or at the start of January. Some schools tend to handle final exams differently, depending on where you are.
