‘Masters of Sex’ season 2, episode 11 preview: Lizzy Caplan, Michael Sheen, and television lights
Times are certainly changing for the cast of “Masters of Sex.” For proof of that, you don’t have to look any further than the decision Masters and Johnson made to close off this past episode.
So moving into next week, the two are considering presenting their findings and theories on television! Yes, we still find it crazy to think that the medium really wants this subject matter on it given the era, but they are going to have this opportunity coming up.
So this crew will arrive to document some of the work that Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen’s characters do, but some of the thoughts and suggestions that they have may not sit particularly well with either one of these two … let alone with Bill’s wife. She is someone, after all, who is still going to have heard voice heard at some point in all of this.
With that being said, it feels like this episode is going to be a huge one for this Libby character, as well, as many of her emotions are going to finally come to a head … and to think, not all of them are directly tied into her husband for a change. There is only a single episode coming up after this one, and we’re starting to get to a point where some of these characters may need a breakthrough. This season has been much more scattered than the one that was before it, and while that can lead to some fantastic moments here and there, it may also make it a little more open to criticism.
