‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: ‘Downton Abbey’ actress snags guest role
Given their filming schedules and also the travel distance required to come over to America, it is not too often that you see a star of “Downton Abbey” coming over to do a TV show for a stateside network.
In this case, we are talking about none other than Mrs. Hughes in Phyllis Logan, who will be turning up in the world of Booth, Brennan, and the Jeffersonian on “Bones.” According to a report from TVLine, Logan is specifically going to play a character who couldn’t be any more different than her servant character. Per executive producer Stephen Nathan, she “is a wealthy woman whose housekeeper has been murdered. Her attempts to help are revealed to be a cover for something much darker.” Who would’ve thought she would go from lower to upper class so quickly on two different shows?
Given the nature of “Bones” as a murder mystery, we of course have to consider that Logan’s character is a suspect in here. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Of course, we are not going to see this character right away, given that the season premiere of the show focuses on whether or not Booth can even get out of prison in the first place. He is starting off the season in prison, and he has many other issues that he will have to deal with even when he gets out. For one, he has to figure out whether or not he trusts the FBI anymore, or is completely disillusioned with the idea of working for his country now after what he has been through.
