‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: An advanced look at Taye Diggs and so much more
While the fall season for TV is technically starting on Monday, September 22, CBS is getting a jump on some of it when it comes to their Sunday-night lineup.
“The Good Wife” returns on September 21, and in that episode, you can see Alicia (Julianna Margulies) do almost everything that she can to refuse a run at State’s Attorney. Will that actually happen? That’s still to be seen. What we have for you now is the first synopsis from the second episode of the season, entitled “Trust Issues.” It makes no mention at all of what Alicia decides that she wants to do:
“Alicia scrambles to hold onto Florrick/Agos’ biggest client as the firm continues to struggle with an internal legal crisis. Meanwhile, Diane continues to plot her move from Lockhart/Gardner and looks for partners to bring with her to the new firm.”
This episode will prominently feature Taye Diggs in his role as Lockhart/Gardner equity partner Dean Levine-Wilkins, so it will be a nice opportunity to further see how he fits into this whole equation. We know for now that he will not be going anywhere in the near future, so you will have a chance to really see this whole story develop.
As for whether or not Diane can move on, that remains to be seen … but we are very much interested in the show getting back to a world where Diane and Alicia are working together again. Having the firms be separated over the past year has reaped interesting rewards, but we also feel like there is a sort of shelf life to it.
