Jane Lynch, Donald Trump, more remember Joan Rivers
Joan obviously was many things to many people. Many over the age of 35 will remember her as a comedy icon, while younger audiences may have been introduced to her via “The Celebrity Apprentice” (hence the picture of Donald Trump) and the comeback that she went on after winning that season. This led to “Fashion Police,” which was the anchor for the rest of her career the past few years.
Sometimes, we do feel like these whole “stars reaction to (insert event here)” can be very superfluous, there is a good reason to include this one here given just what Joan meant to everyone. She redefined comedy for almost every man or woman who wanted to perform on TV, and many comics today could not be doing what they are if it was not for her. We wanted to bring you some of these perspectives, along with a few other people who were her good friends in real life.
The truth of the matter here is that while we’re sad today, Joan would want us joking about her within 24 hours. She was just that sort of comic, and never wanted to have anything take away from the joke. Let’s just hope that comedians young and old remember her legacy, and take some of her lessons moving forward into the future.
First Robin. Now Joan. The world just became a less funny place. RIP Joan Rivers.

Joan Rivers once told me she would die before she'd ever apologize for a joke. I'm glad she made it.
