‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19: Lolo Jones, Tommy Chong, Sadie Robertson in official cast

Fans of “Dancing with the Stars,” it is finally official. ABC today unveiled the full list of cast members for the upcoming season, and as of right now, we’d give them a just-above passing grade. We’ve heard of some of these people, but not enough to have us really that excited to the point where we are jumping up and down with joy.

Without further ado now, let’s go ahead now and share the list of people who are going to be taking part in the show this season.

• Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff – Randy is a UFC star, and should make for an interesting participant here.
• Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater – Michael is a popular race car driver, so those athletic skills may not translate here at all.
• Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy – It’s Mona! We’re going to get a chance to see a different side of the “Pretty Little Liars” star now.
• Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas – The “Duck Dynasty” daughter gets her own spotlight.
• Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Cheryl Burke – Sabato is a former soap star, and they always have a good fan following.
• Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson – Ribeiro is someone you may know from “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air,” and he is the one with “Ringer” attached to him since he does have some dance background.
• Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd – This will be a challenge for Peta, who is used to getting the younger, athletic partners.
• Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker – We knew Jonathan’s character from “Mean Girls,” but have no recollection of him.
• Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev – Great for fans of “Back to the Future.”
• Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess – Radio host who we honest have never heard of.
• Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe – Lolo is one of the most notable contestants this year as a former Olympian.
• Bethany Mota and Derek Hough – Bethany is a YouTube personality, and this is a play for young viewers.
• Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani – Betsey is the rare fashion designer contestant on the show.

We’ll preview the cast further in the coming days, but right now, our biggest feeling is just that it’s going to be too predictable. Lolo, Bethany, and Sadie are all going to go really far, and most of the older contestants will leave early.
