‘Big Brother 16’ review: Cody the dinosaur, and the failed Frankie plan

Cody -Tonight, “Big Brother 16” aired an episode that was by and large one of the most disappointing of the entire season … mostly because Caleb passed up on a chance to actually get some respect as a gameplayer.

There was virtually no reason at all to want to keep Frankie from his vantage point, given that Nicole would be grateful for being given a shot in the game, and would be unlikely that she would target him later. Meanwhile, Frankie is a big competition threat.

Unfortunately for Caleb, it was Derrick once again who put the brakes on the plan, especially given that every other person in the house was interested in making the move. We feel like the real reason he wanted her out was because he knew that Frankie wouldn’t come after him, and he also thought that Nicole complimenting him would hurt his game … seriously.

As for the rest of the episode, Cody in a dinosaur was somewhat funny, we liked the detonation theme to the Veto Competition given the alliance name, and apparently, this show is so boring right now that they needed to revive the spirit of Dan Gheesling at one point. Plus, we’re getting pretty tired of hearing the words “beast mode.” Basically, we have heard this term uttered more in this game than we have “Holla,” which is ironic given that we are supposed to be getting 5,000 of these.

Hopefully, we’ll have some more excitement coming up tomorrow via the double-eviction episode. Grade: C.
