‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Jill Flint, Kelli Giddish to return

Good Wife -Have you felt like the Kalinda story lately on “The Good Wife” has been lacking? We certainly understand if you do. To us, it feels almost like we have seen the show take a long break away from the character beginning the very moment that her husband turned up on the scene, and most of the public hated the story.

Luckily, Alicia’s frequent friend is going to have a much bigger presence on season 6, and one of the ways that the writers are going to help orchestrate this better is by introducing again some familiar faces. According to a report from TVLine, Jill Flint will be stopping by from “The Night Shift” to reprise her role as Lana Delaney from the FBI. Meanwhile, you will also have an appearance from “Law & Order: SVU” star Kelli Giddish as Sophia Russo.

Basically, you can add these two to what is already a very padded roster of people turning up on the upcoming season, let by Taye Diggs in a significant story arc. You will also for sure see more of Carrie Preston as Elsbeth, and we wonder if the show will implement her even more now that “True Blood” is over on HBO.

The season premiere of “The Good Wife” will air on Sunday, September 28, and hopefully at that point we will find ourselves a whole lot better able to assess some of these storylines than we are right now after looking at them from afar.
