‘True Blood’ series finale spoilers: See Alexander Skarsgard – Anna Camp image

Where in the world is “True Blood” going to be heading for its upcoming series finale? Well, you can assume that there will be at least a little bit of madness.

The episode on Sunday night is entitled “Goodbye,” and the attached image features Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) in what looks to be a pretty heated confrontation.

However, is everything really as it seems here? That may not be the case here, mostly from the standpoint that Eric may need Sarah now in some form. He does not like being threatened, so he will not be particularly pleased with the position that this evil Mr. Gus has him in. You know that he is going to do everything that he can to fight this authority, and the big question for the time being is in what way he will fight it. So long as we are entertained, we’ll continue to say that we really don’t care.

At the moment, our expectations for series finales are surprisingly low, given that we’ve sat through terrible ones for “Dexter” and “How I Met Your Mother,” it was only recently that we really started to feel like “True Blood” was starting to get good again. Who knows? Maybe this will surprise us, be immensely entertaining, and we will ultimately have very little to worry about. But, we shall see. There are only a few more days until that airs, and we’ll just have to get together some more photo previews until that time.
