‘Pretty Little Liars’ summer finale spoilers: Who is going to die? We discuss

After tonight’s “Pretty Little Liars” episode, there was a very ominous tease that made one thing abundantly clear: At the end of the show’s summer finale (or #FatalFinale, based on what they are calling it on Twitter), someone’s biting the dust.

With that being said, who is the most likely person to die? The purpose of this article is all about trying to find out. We’ve put on our detective caps, and we’re going to go through at least a list of some of the show’s most-popular characters in terms of who will live, and who ultimately won’t.

Likely Safe

All of the Liars – Unless one of them really wants to quit the show, the producers would not kill any of them off.

Ezra – Also, it’s safe to rule him out based on the fact that he almost died at the end of last season. The show does not like to repeat things.

The parents – We just don’t see any motivation, since they are not involved heavily in any of the stories this year.

Possible deaths

Toby – If Spencer does get a new love interest, could this be why?

Caleb – It’s possible, but it would be a little bit weird given that the guy just became a major part of this show again.

Mona – What better way to shake the show up than getting rid of someone at the center of everything? This could spark a huge new mystery.

Paige – Another one that would feel really cruel, given what already happened to Maya seasons back.

Likely candidates 

Ali – Wouldn’t the show love to go full-circle, and have Ali actually be killed off now following her brief return?

Tanner – It’s never a good thing to be a cop in Rosewood. Just ask Linden or Garrett.

Mike – There has to be a reason why this guy has been around more lately … but we’re hoping that this is not it.

Sydney – It’s the easy person to kill off at this point that still allows the show to promote something big.

Jenna – An interesting possibility, though we also do not see the real reason to do this right now.

Melissa – Our #1 candidate right now. Didn’t that video to Spencer feel like a “forever” sort of goodbye? We don’t think she has revealed every secret just yet.
