‘Under the Dome’ season 2, episode 9 preview: What will Barbie learn next?

For the first time in a few weeks, we are pleased to say that “Under the Dome” improved to a certain extent this week with the realization that there are actually some interesting things happening outside of the dome! Does that mean that we are going to be completely satisfied with the results, or that we are going to get answers? No, but it is a start.

The next episode is entitled “The Red Door,” and based on the contents of the official synopsis below, it feels as though both Jim and Barbie both have some interesting things on their plates. Take a look at the synopsis below:

“When Barbie is apprehended by a group of mysterious men, he is relentlessly interrogated about his connection to the Dome. Meanwhile, Big Jim makes a deal that could seal the fate of the residents of Chester’s Mill forever.”

As we get closer and closer to the end of the road this season, there is one major question that we are left asking ourselves: How much longer can this craziness start to sustain itself? Are we going to be able to really handle not knowing what is truly happening here? In the end it feels like we really do need to have some sort of answers by the time the finale happens, or it’s going to be hard for a season 3 to hold our interest. Heck, at this point the third season may even be in a little limbo since the ratings are down versus last year.
