‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: New promo shows David Boreanaz’s Booth in peril

“Bones” will be back on the air comes September 25, and based on the latest promo below for the Fox series, we are going to have a long and very bumpy ride ahead.

The biggest struggle for a certain Agent Booth while behind bars is going to be largely psychological. After all, he has to find a way to keep his hopes up while his daughter Christine wonders where he is, and his wife Brennan tries to figure out a way to rescue him. Given the person that we know Booth to be, he is not going to be nearly as intimidated by some of the prisoners who decide to take it upon themselves to beat the snot out of him. Given that he is an FBI guy behind bars, he is basically public enemy #1.

One thing that David Boreanaz’s character can be happy about? That apparently, prison beard actually seems to work pretty well for him. If only he could pull off a plan to get out of this place with the same aplomb that he pulls off this beard, we’d all be in a very great place.

Could this first episode back be all sorts of incredible? We definitely think so, and we’re sure that there will be twists and turns along the way. The one thing that we are sure of is that Booth is going to feel the PTSD from this for quite some time. It’s probably not much of a spoiler to say that he eventually makes it out; what happens next is going to be of note.
