‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 spoilers: The answer to Ian Somerhalder – Kat Graham mystery

For the majority of this long “Vampire Diaries” hiatus, it is very understandable that one question has played out in your brain time and time again: What in the world is going on with Damon and Bonnie? Are the two alive? Are they dead? Where in the world are they?

Regardless of whatever questions that you have ringing through your brain right now, the good news is that you are going to have some answers soon enough. According to TV Guide, you are going to learn before the end of the second episode just where Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham’s characters are (which means that they will not be getting out of there immediately). The setting is in some plays going to be familiar to them, but that isn’t going to matter. This is a very new place, and one they will struggle to figure out.

The great thing about this story to us is that it gives Damon a chance to form a very deep bond with someone who he has not spent a whole lot of time with individually over the past few seasons. This entire story should also serve as a nice way to call back to the book series on which the show is based, given that these two characters are much closer there than they have come across on the show so far.

Of course, we hope to have some more news on this story before the premiere … including if there is anyone else there with the two of them.
