‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 10 video: Lucy Hale’s Aria tries to comfort Ella

Times are going to be tough for Ella Montgomery on “Pretty Little Liars” next week, but in a surprise twist, one of the main characters is actually going to be there for her!

We’re somewhat joking when we say this, but typically, the Liars are forced to spend so much time looking over their shoulders that they are not the best at comforting others … at all. We’re sure it gets pretty darn frustrating for some of the parents or their friends, but when you have the police constantly looking at you and some other near-constant nonsense to deal with, we mostly understand it.

Aria tries to help her mom in the sneak peek below recover from the devastating end of her engagement, especially the way in which it happened when she realized that not everything was even remotely what it seemed. She even made her one of her favorite foods! Alas, Ella is not ready for some comfort food just yet, and is instead just doubting herself and claiming that this is something that she really should have seen coming from the very beginning for a variety of different reasons.

We feel bad for Ella, but still feel like she’ll get some sort of happy ending eventually. Either this will mean her and Byron mending fences, her finding someone else, or her simply deciding that she doesn’t need to have a new relationship to be happy. Knowing this show, we could see any of these situations as possible.
