“CSI” season 15 – “Body of Proof” alum Mark Valley is coming aboard a different type of crime show … but this time in a private investigator role. According to a report from Entertainment Weekly, he is set to recur throughout the upcoming season as a private investigator who ends up working frequently with Elisabeth Shue when it is learned that his partner has gone missing.

“Nashville” nabs Laura Benanti – We cannot imagine a show that could have created a more fitting casting than this one. The actress, who most recently won hearts for “The Sound of Music Live,” will play a key part of the ABC show’s third season. Deadline reports that her character’s name is Sadie Stone, and she as a rising star in the country world will be come close to Connie Britton’s character of Rayna. Unfortunately, we’re not sure that this is a good thing for her.

“New Girl” scoop – What we can say right now is that if you like Cece and Schmidt, you’ll get a chance to see a ton of these two characters in season 4. Per TV Guide, his obsession with her is going to be reunited at the start of the season when he sees her at a wedding. Before that, she will have spent the summer traveling with Buster, and he will have focused for a while on being a player. What else could you expect from him?
